Tryfan Information
Please read the following information before booking
Tryfan is best enjoyed in sunny and dry conditions. In winter conditions, It’s a tough experience, which requires a higher level of mountaineering skill. Some serious winter mountaineering (not walking) skills. Tryfan is a Grade 1 scramble that should be approached with caution. The weather can make or break this walk, so it is important to review the weather on the day before deciding whether to proceed. If I feel the weather is too dangerous, I will cancel the booking and offer you a route change, a date change or a full refund.
Tryfan is a fun climb from start to finish, passing the famous Canon Stone for the perfect picture.
However despite the high level of exposure to the ridge, the level of technical difficulty is relatively straight forward if you have a decent level of hiking experience.
It is essential that suitable footwear is worn, and you prepare for all types of weather as the weather can very quickly change on the mountain.
You must bring with you all items on the kit list below. Should you fail to bring the correct equipment, I reserve the right to cancel the walk for your own safety without providing a refund.
The route is not suitable for children or dogs.
